David F Bello is the vocalist of post-rock and emo band titled The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am Longer Afraid To Die, his solo project is under his full name and is a more ambient approach to the songwriting of the band. This record is very cold but beautiful invoking feelings of love and loss. David’s method of creating soundscapes using vocals processed through looping pedals keeps you very engaged throughout the piece. There’s a lot of sheer honesty in the lyrics of “A Million Plateaus” that paint an exact image of the place and headspace during the process of writing. Cover art by Alex Angley (Inarticulate)
